ForToday

Yesterday

I thought of today

I imagined a way

To invite the sun

To a world of tomorrow

But it was borrowed

Light

And it had

Its limit

Sooner

Later

It would be a matter

Of yesterday

So today

I will think of

the moon

A light

In the darkness

With it’s fullness

And warmth.

A reminder

of a better

day

than yesterday

For it’s Today.
